Color Gone Wrong!!!

Hey ladies, it's your girl Tara here to tell you the do's and don'ts about coloring your natural coils. Please ladies do your research. Check the ingredients before coloring your hair. Tell me something, if your hair is chemical free why are you coloring  your hair with harsh chemicals that will straighten the natural coil, over process your hair, and cause possible hair damage.

STOP AND TAKE A LOOK! Here are some common harsh ingredients found in most hair colors!!!
  • Ammonia
  • Phenylenediamine
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Monoethanolamine
Look out for products that states "ammonia free" some of those products are still harsh for your hair.

A lot of women use Henna to color their hair, but I found a lot of women are using commercial hair color, one in particular is Naturtint. I read a lot of excellent reviews about this product. Naturtint is an ammonia- and resorcinol-free hair color. It uses plant-based products like soy and oats to provide up to five weeks of permanent hair color and 100 percent coverage of gray hairs. Naturtint has been sold across Europe since 1984. All shades of color include a bottle of colorant, a developer and a moisturizing treatment.

Naturtint can be found in Whole Foods.
